Well, this will be my first actual post. Life is just so hectic these days that I can't seem to get an extra minute in. A month ago I gave into my husband's request and quit my job. I thought that I would be able to get a break then...Not! You know how it is, the more time I have...the more things I have to do! So, now I just go to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Ironically enough, my days now are consumed of softball and just doing mommy duties, all of which I wouldn't change for the world. My kids are doing better in school. Before I went to work and started school,myself, their grades were always really good. Well, needless to say, when I got busy their grades reflected it. So, time to strap down again...

Wesley was nominated for Homecoming Court at his school. It was precious. All of the highschool girls picked one boy and girl from k4 and k5. He wore a tux and held the queen's crown. While introducing each child, the announcer read out a small interview that had been previously conducted to show everyone their character. That was priceless.

Wesley wants to be a firefighter when he grows up (which was news to me). He wants to save cats from trees. (He later told me that he wanted to be a cowboy but that his teacher told him that they were not real...hahaha). His favorite food was crawfish at Clawdaddy's Crawfish ( a place I used to work). His role model was his momma. I loved that part, although my husband did not... he swore I cohearsed him to say that...too funny! Well, needless to say, he was so handsome...

My girls are getting big. The big girls will be eleven this summer. How time flies. Haleigh will be seven. We took family pics the other day but I haven't been able to scan them yet, so hopefully I will be able to post them soon! They were beautiful.

I got my midterm grades. I was a little dissatisfied with myself. My first semester I was really hard on myself and got all A's. I consumed myself in my grades so much that I was making myself and probably everyone else miserable with it so I vowed to slack a little bit. Well, a little bit got me all B's this midterm. I am not happy with that. I guess I need to find a middle ground and go with it. Anyways, my husband and children are quite proud of me and that should be enough to make me happy... I love them and they are supportive of my demanding school schedule. I love them even more for that!

I recently conduced a little interview for my children. I highly recommend that you do it. IT was really cute and I loved their answers. The girls are the only ones that participated because Wesley's answer was "I dont know" to everyone of them...hahaha
